The first seven years of life I was known as Elyashberg Boris Vadimovich. At seven years old my parents changed the last name to
Berezovsky
1974
As a child, I played the piano for 3-4 hours a day for ice cream.
The first concert I played in the cinema for a cake at the age of 5 years.
School
1984
Then the Gnessin school and the first concert with the orchestra in the now defunct hall «Russia».
In my program there was a concerto Kabalevsky and in the end the fee — soup, julienne and ice cream (that is, the appetite grows).
Amazing teachers Irina Rodzevich and Ismail Alterman did everything to teach to play and have a joy from classes!

Hobbies in my youth
Vladimir Vladimirovich Sofronitsky
Fryderyk Chopin
Shura Cherkassky
I still don't understand how Cherkassky could play so good in 12 years.Even in 50!
Gustav Mahler
The first unrequited love —
Natalia Sidorenko in the second class.
My favorite band is «Genesis».
Graduated a year early to not to go to the army.
Once again thanks to parents that bought off for 3000 rubles from army.
Conservatory
I studied at the Moscow state Tchaikovsky Conservatory with the legendary Eliso Virsaladze and preparated for the first international competitions.
1987
4th prize at the Leeds competition.
1990
1 prize at the Ninth international Tchaikovsky competition.
Eliso Konstantinovna Virsaladze
For all this — a huge gratitude to Eliso.
My success is largely due to her merits and great work.
And for the last stage I studied with the teacher of Alexander I. Sats. A man who literally breathed into me musical life and consciousness.
And now the pianist is ready for concert activity!
I remember talking to a colleague and bragging about the upcoming performances: «first Geneva, Zurich, Paris. Then 10 concerts…», he ironically remarked «the main thing is not to confuse the sequence!»
I hope not to confuse cities, compositions and piano keys for another 40 years!
